Biography:
Chen Lei, Ph.D./Postdoctoral Fellow, is an Associate Professor and M.S. Supervisor at the School of Information Science and Engineering, Shandong University. He received his Ph.D. from the School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, University of Ottawa, Canada, and his B.S. and M.S. from the School of Information Science and Engineering, Shandong University. He is a member of the Future Program for Young Scholars of Shandong University and the Chinese Society of Automation. His main research interests include image processing and computer vision, visual quality evaluation and image enhancement, abnormal behavior analysis, digital watermarking, and machine learning and artificial intelligence. He is currently presiding over a number of national, provincial and ministerial research projects, including the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the sub-projects of the National Key Research and Development Program of China, the Natural Science Foundation of Shandong Province, and the China Postdoctoral Fellowship, etc. He has also participated in the Canada Research Fund for Science and Engineering and so on. Currently, he has published a number of important international academic journals and conferences, obtained a number of national invention patents, served as a reviewer for some internationally renowned journals and field chair of international conferences, and has been invited to give keynote reports and invited reports of international conferences for a number of times.
